Last weekend (Labor Day) I had an itch to buy a surfboard and go surfing - so I did. I went to Bradley Beach, New Jersey and caught some waves. On my first day out I caught a total of about 6 waves in 3-4 hours of time in the water and actually got up on the board twice (yes, 2 times!). It was a beautiful day out on the beach. The water was warm and the waves were relatively good for surfing as hurricane Ernesto had just passed through town.
