Wallstrip Vlog Bought by CBS

Wallstrip is reported to have been purchased by CBS.  Pretty cool.  I think that they mentioned that the price was $5mm.   I read somewhere that they started this vlog in the summer of 2005;  quick value creation.

And, there is talk that the acquisition was based around gaining access and content produced with Lindsay Campbell, (a New York City based actor) as she does a show on Wallstrip. 

I'll be checking it out more often.  Best of luck to that team, if indeed this is a true report.

I have a feeling that this people search engine will catch fire. I tested it and it seems relatively robust.  Danny Sullivan mentioned this on the 5/15 SearchCast.

Educating Clients about Web Development

Shane Diffily put up a good post about educating your clients and stakeholders on key aspects of web development.  It's worth the read.

Among the things that I believe are really key are: privacy and security policies and the legal aspects / disclosures.  As well, educating a client and your stakeholders about the near and long-term cost implications of website scale is so, so important to long term site success.
