Facebook Errors

I'm sick and tired of facebook errors.  "wall not currently available", site server timing out etc.  I would estimate that 2%-4% of the time, I get a site error on facebook.

facebook has claimed to be a software company but with the amount of errors in processing requests to the site () I don't see how they can gain more traction as a "software company".  The site has so much potential, but they really ought to get the site errors in check, quickly.

Display Advertising has a threshold: Snorg Tees on Digg.com

I'm sick and tired of seeing display banner advertising on digg.com for Snog Tees.  Because I see this same advertisement over and over, all the time, every day on digg.com, I specifically will not click it or visit the site.  For some reason, seeing display advertising over and over makes me hate a brand.  I'll also keep my lips sealed next time someone asks me where they can get a custom, quirky t-shirt. 

Although I do have to say, the fact that I'm mentioning Snorg Tees here may actually be a positive word of mouth buzz type exposure for them (even though I've cast their campaign in a negative light).

ugh!

10e20 in LA Times: Search Engine Mahalo

10e20 commented yesterday on the new buzz surrounding Mahalo, a hand edited search engine.  I've not yet had time to test it out, but we will certainly be picking it apart and working with it as much as possible.

Why You Need to Dump that Google Sitemap: Today!

I'm not sure that I agree 100% with this post.  Sitemaps is really intended to open a channel of communication for webmasters.  It may be particularly helpful to large ecommerce sites with dynamic pages and such.

I do agree wholeheartedly on building everything for the users and the engines (and people most importantly) will follow.

Nevertheless - this is a well written and provocative post.

Here we go

I am off and running with my new blog.  This is very exiting; I am actually publishing my own written work.  I'm not sure what the future holds with this, but I am sure that whatever it does hold is very, very promising. 

Please visit again as you will be continually entertained and amazed at what you find.  I propose that this will be my forum for expression on Politics, Family, Religion, Sports, and Business (in no particular order of importance; save family, which is obviously THE single most important institution in creation!
